On Friday the 8th of October, students in Y7- 10 accomplished a wonderful achievement by completing the 13 miles of our local sponsored walk.
This has been a tradition since the 1960s with thousands of students across the years completing the annual walk. Many of the parents, guardians and carers will remember this wonderful experience, and perhaps how challenging it was. Students choose the charities they’ll support, and every year raise thousands of pounds to support both the school and the community which much needed funds.
We were pleased to receive some very positive comments from locals in the area who said they supported and appreciated the student’s commitment. The students were a credit to the school, and we’re sure they will look back at this as an experience to remember.
