Wickersley Climbing Trip – Pleasley Vale
The Wickersley School climbing club headed out on 16th March to spend the inset day climbing at Pleasley Vale Crag. This was to give the students the chance to experience outdoor climbing after developing their skills on our indoor climbing wall.
Students from Y7 and 8 had good weather to tackle the limestone routes. They all rose to the challenge completing some technical climbs, working on both outdoor climbing technique and rope skills.
On Thursday 14th November, we held our annual Sixth Form Open Evening We welcomed our highest number of visitors to the school to hear talks
