Y9 and Y10 Drama students recently braved the cold January weather to enjoy a two day trip to London’s West End. The students saw two shows – the eerie ghost drama, The Enfield Haunting, and the spectacular stage musical adaptation of Disney’s Frozen.
The group also had a tour of London’s largest and oldest theatre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, learning about the history of the building, the plays staged there and the royal rivalry which inspired the two ‘halves’ of the theatre. There were also tales of ghosts haunting various areas backstage.
Students also enjoyed an evening sightseeing tour along the Thames, an exploration of the British Museum and free time in the Covent Garden piazza.
