28 Wickersley students were selected to represent Rotherham at the South Yorkshire Schools Athletics event on Saturday 8th July 2024. Our students represented the school and Rotherham incredibly well, and there were some outstanding results! Well done to everyone who took part, what a fantastic achievement.

⭐ Ellen Henry (Junior Girl)- Javelin South Yorkshire Silver medalist
⭐ Matilda Holmes (Junior Girl) – 1500m South Yorkshire Champion
⭐ Beth Sherwood (Inters Girl) – 200m & 300m South Yorkshire Bronze Medalist
⭐ Isaac Barnett (Junior Boy) – 300m South Yorkshire Champion
⭐ Luke Parker (Senior Boy) – 800m South Yorkshire Champion
⭐ George Ellis (Senior Boy) – 800m South Yorkshire Silver Medalist
⭐ Eva Smith (Inters Girl) – 1500m South Yorkshire Bronze Medalist
A special well done goes to Luke Parker, who has since been selected to represent South Yorkshire at the English Schools Championships on the 12th and 13th July. Good luck, and a massive well done!
