Y10 Manchester Mile Success!
The Manchester Mile is a rare race over the iconic one mile distance. It takes place on the athletics track at SportCity with electronic timing to 100th of a second and a photo-finish. The event was first won by the legendary Sydney Wooderson of Blackheath and Bromley Harriers in 1943.
Eva in Year 10 travelled to Manchester on Wednesday evening to take on the mile, and she placed 1st in the U17 girls category. Well done Eva, what a great achievement!
