Y10 student, Matilda, was recently selected to run for the Yorkshire and Humberside region at the London Mini Marathon.
The event, which takes place over 2.6km of the iconic London marathon course, sees athletes finishing on the mall in front of Buckingham Palace. It is contested by selected runners from all UK regions and the London Boroughs.
Matilda finished the U15 Girls event in 47th place overall, out of 220 athletes, helping the Yorkshire and Humberside team to a fifth place finish.
