Thursday 12th August saw our Y11 students celebrating their GCSE exam success, which paid testament to their hard work and resilience, and superb response to the challenges of these times.
The past 18 months have presented us all with many varied challenges to overcome. I know how hard pupils and teachers have worked to adapt to learning and teaching in different ways – sometimes in school, sometimes remotely. However, as is often the case, the most difficult of times brings out the very best in our school community, and Year 11 have certainly risen to the challenge and more.
I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our Year 11 students and would like to congratulate them for their hard work, commitment, and positive approach towards securing such excellent GCSE outcomes. I would also like to thank all staff for their tremendous work in supporting our students towards examination success. In addition, my thanks must also go to parents and Governors for their continued support.
On behalf of the teachers, the whole school staff, and the Governors I would like to wish all of our Year 11 students congratulations on their successes and well-deserved grades. All of our year 11 students should be immensely proud of their achievements.
