Congratulations to the students below who have been recognised by one of their Humanities teachers for their excellent approach towards learning during this first half term. An extra special mention goes to Isabelle Whelan, Year 10, pictured below with her Geography teacher Mrs Thompson.
Mrs Oakes, Head of Humanities, was particularly impressed with the reason why Isabelle is a star of this half term; in the words of Mrs Thompson: “Izzy comes to every Geography lesson with evidence of learning beyond the classroom. She looks at her topic checklist to see what the lesson is going to be about and then does independent research into the topic in preparation for the lesson. Isabelle is amazing in terms of her approach to learning and work ethic.”
Well done to Isabelle and all the other stars of the half term.
