We’re delighted to invite Year 11 students currently holding a conditional offer to
study at Wickersley Sixth Form into school on the 7th and 8th of July 2022 for our
Summer Induction event.
This event is an ideal opportunity for students to meet their teachers and classmates, and experience their first Sixth Form lessons.
The days will include a mixture of classroom lessons delivered by their teachers and other activities designed to get them ready for sixth form study in September.
We will also build-in opportunities for students to sample other subjects if they’re unsure about their option choices.
We strongly encourage all students currently holding a conditional offer to attend both induction days. We encourage students to check their inbox regularly over the next few weeks for further details about how the event will run.
As part of our induction programme, we are also hosting the following events:
- Applicant Parent Information Evening, an introduction to sixth form study, systems, enrolment and beyond, on Thursday the 30th of June, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

- Welcome Afternoon, just for students who are joining us from other
schools, on Wednesday the 6th of July, 2:00 pm – 3:10 pm
We understand that not all students are available to attend our induction events, please don’t worry if this is the case. The resources and information will be made available online afterwards and all conditional offers to study with us will remain valid.
