This module introduces students to using the School email system efficiently and how to use the Google Apps for Education suite to create, store, share and collaborate on documents. E-safety, Health and Safety and Searching the Web: This module introduces students to the dangers that they may face when online and how to deal with online dangers safely should they arise. Students will also learn how to search the Web effectively using Search Engines and how to evaluate the quality of the information that they find for accuracy, reliability and validity.

This module introduces students to computer programming. Kodu is a visual tile-based programming language designed specifically for designing computer games. By following this module students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of computer programming: sequencing, selection, logic and problem-solving.

Business Communication

In this module, students will learn how to create digital images using Serif DrawPlus and PhotoPlus. Students will learn how to create bitmap and vector graphics. Students will also learn about the implications of copyright and the responsibility of fair usage of digital assets.

Students will learn about how data models can be used to represent real-life situations. The module will help students learn spreadsheet design skills and how changes to a data model can affect the outcome.
