Year 11’s Excellent Interpretation

Year 11 Drama DNA Work

Following their recent trip to the woods to explore the setting of Dennis Kelly’s DNA students were asked to present their own interpretation of the set. Ben Hodgson, Harry Leng-Bloodworth and Lydia Dulley decided to create detailed model settings of their ideas.

In preparation for their Year 11 written exam, students must consider how the play could be staged on four different types of staging. All Year 11 Drama Students have delivered individual presentations considering the structure, style and genre of the play alongside the use of set and props then gone on to explain how their choices of set design can be used to show the themes, characters and relationship changes in the play.
