Five pupils from Wickersley traveled in snowy conditions to the Northern Cheer and Dance Championships in Blackpool at the weekend to compete for Sheffield Cheerleading club ‘ Wild Spirit Allstars’ and came back with a handful of trophies.
Ellie Forster and Sophie Wilson ( Year 12 pupils ) competed in the Senior level 4 Cheer-leading section and were Northern region Champions in 1st place.
Georgia-Mae Forster, Millie Downing and Rebecca Phillips ( Year 10 pupils) competed in the Senior level 3 competition and were awarded 3rd place after the team recently joined the senior ranks!
Georgia- Mae also competed in the Individual event and came a respectable 4th place after returning to training in January after an ankle fracture!
