On 21st October, Y11 students attended a revision workshop in school 6pm-7pm with their parents. Beforehand, they completed a learning styles survey which identified whether they were predominantly a visual, auditory or kinaesthetic learner.
On the night, they took part in lots of revision activities relevant to their learning style which they could then adapt to any subject and took away lots of hints and tips for revision success. Visual students were led by Mrs Stevenson and Miss Dalle Fratte, who delivered a session that was an explosion of colour, sparkle and eye-catching images.
While the kinaesthetic and auditory students tried their hand at activities like History taboo, Human sticky notes and periodic modelling clay with Miss Tattershall and Mrs Marshall. Every student left with their own individual passport to revision success.
