Well done to our Year 13 Drama and Theatre students who presented their monologues and duologues for assessment to the visiting examiner. The students all gave an excellent account of themselves as they performed extracts from a wide range of plays. This year’s chosen texts included Plastic, Cruising, The Pillowman, Raz, Ghosts, Home, I’m Darling, The Seagull, The Wasp and Space Wang.

Wildfire Road Y11 Theatre Trip

Y11 GCSE Drama students recently enjoyed a theatre trip to Sheffield’s Crucible Playhouse. The students saw Wildfire Road, a brand new ecological thriller by playwright Eve Leigh. The students will go on to analyse performance and technical elements in the play for their final written exam.
